Days in Ngee Ann
It has been a pretty busy and hectic week for me and I'm much worn out already. Is like me having school everyday till about 5 and CCAs after that...from 6 to 9 i guess. These few days especially, had to stay back with the kevin and terence to practice with the guitar and bass with me playing the keyboard for them. Nevertheless, I'm glad that i could join them in the band for worship session in crusade. thanks joyce for the constant reminders and sherman.. haha, you lead pretty well for the first L.M of the new year and thanks to michele too for the guidance and for staying back after school to train me on the keyboard.
Besides having practices and campus crusade is on thursday, dancesport is on every tuesday. Went for their first lesson as they taught us progressive cha cha.. wasn't really good at it, but then having a good dancing partner, she taught the moves and we found ourselves quite fast learners. my primary school classmate fiona was in that sport, being a senior, she show us some of the moves, we were impressed. After all that, i promised them i would go for the upcoming camp where we will have intensive latin practices and that we will be send for competitions. sounds cool huh... really wanna give it a try.
Floorball then will be on every thursday, training was tough, but then I'm willing to make sacrifices to get into the first team for floorball. I will make it! Make a couple of new friends there, guess i might be training with them for the next couple of weeks.. oh hey, alot of fairfians there..elton la, all you friends are like hilbert, shane and henry.. but they are nice people la, and good instructors. yeah!Np strings will be starting their lessons soon too, but terence said i could learn guitar from him, so i may consider not joining that, for now.
Oh lastly, not forgetting the tons of homework, assignments and projects i'd been given. It's like never ending.., no idea when I can ever complete everything. Got into new modules and made lots of new friends too. Group rotation makes me work with different people. Having the most pressure from DB class, cos I'm elected to become the team leader, so there comes responsibility and many other things. My group looks pretty slack but then i think i'll always be there to motivate them and hopes everything works out well. So, shaun, joe and subra, come on man brothers, work for an A grade! Have been selected to be in the same group with Rui Ping, Joycelin, Kai Ling and Zhi Yong for WAD and EBF. This group looks more promising in all aspects than the previous one. Not much worries than... Unfamiliar faces were seen in my new IS module, I&E, only 2 classmates of mine got into that class as me. Missed the first lesson due to a sickness, and so having gotten into their groups, i had to join the all girls team as they only had 4 members, for the rest had 5. At first, i was pretty shy as i sat there in silence for quite awhile before we started talking cos we had discussions and group activities. Hmm... frankly speaking, nothing scary at all. I found them quite interesting, friendly and humourous, and we worked pretty well together though I'm the only guy there. Guess that bonding will be greater as the days goes by, and that we will have more group activities. Hey, we have come up with a group name too. Sounds interesting. With me, Yu Hui and Si Min in IT course, Clarrissa and Magdalene in EE, we called ourselves "the E.T". more to come in the following weeks, cya guys.
Hey, year one freshmen from I.T., thanks for the variety show, all of your did a great job. Especially my best buddy kenneth, the group of year one's you leaded were great. They showed great enthusiasm in their dance and the dance was great. Song "summer loving" from the movie and we're all in this together in the movie . The performance was fascinating and i think your OGL deserve some of the credits. hehe, although i wasn't present to watch it, but from the practices you al had, and the comments people makes me believes that you're will be champs.. just like my class did for the amazing race last year, sadly not for the variety show. Speaking of that incident, i was so embarrassed by it as i was picked to be the lead singer for our item which is to sing the song "zhi ying wei ni" by zhang dong liang, but then i still leaded my class confidently in singing. Although we didn't win the grand prize, but then I'm sure that experience was unforgettable( standing infront of a crowd singing).All in all, it was fun and everyone was bonded through that, we certainly look more united than before.. So, great job guys!!!
WOW... yesterday's L.M.( L.I.F.E. Meeting) was awesome!!! that was like a massive crowd of people that turned up for it. It was like filled with crowd numbering thousands upon thousands... ok not that many.. wahaha maybe abt 100plus plus... But it really seems like it , maybe because I’m not used having so many people during L.M. It was a real encouragement. GOd is like kinda tell me that there many people( christian) out there wanting to shine the light for Jesus. And that is so cool. There are many people out there who wants to take their relationship with GOd seriously, and not only that, they want it to grow in the word!!! can you believe?!?... it is hard to find it in church sometimes... they are asking GOd for more... ( that was wat i saw and heard for myself from the freshmen) amazing... praise GOd...
I'm beat, i need a break. but it seems by weekends are packed too... Zzz...
