A Fruitful Holiday

It all started on last Thursday where I had my first camp. It was the Green Fusion Camp organized by club environmental ranger’s society. My first impression of the camp was that it would be a boring one, and so I treated it lightly for it won't be too much of a difference compared to previous camps. One main reason why we killed that thought was because of the programs and activities they had installed for us. It really surprises me as I never thought that we would be visiting those places and stuff.
On the first day, it was a long journey to the HB Goat Farm and the road was quite bumpy, making us real sick. We had no choice, but to endure! Upon reaching there, we were invited inside and one of the staff brought us to this milk processing station where we can have a look at how the goat is milked, etc. Next, we proceed on to the feeding station after we tasted the milk. Some of my friends even bought dried grass from the stall there, just to have the experience of feeding an animal. It was so fun, looks like everyone is enjoying themselves. Took a group photo under the hot scorching sun before we left for the next location.
Next stop was the visit to the Newater plant. Quite educational and beneficial for all of us as we were taught how and where our water source comes from and the processes of it and by doing so, we may not have to be dependent on other resources for water supplies. I found the whole trip quite interesting and surely,I personally thinks that I had gain pretty much knowledge about everything. And yet again, we had our group photo taking session before heading back to campus for more activities.
Firstly, we kicked off with some ice-breaker games within the group and through that, I'd got a chance to know some of them which then we became good friends. For example, mak and yeeshan. Next up was dinner and treasure hunt at night which we came in second.
Wash up and off we went to Al Almin's roti prata stall opposite beauty world center for supper. The 7 of us( Sherwin, mak, mingjie, chen kun, yee shan, hui shan and me) walked there. Got back to the our bunks only at 1+a.m. We didn’t went straight to bed and instead stayed up to listen ghost stories. And only went to bed at 3a.m.
Next day, was just the visiting of the incineration plant and back for de-brief session and that was the end of the first camp.

On Saturday, I proceed on to the World Famine Camp held at Republic Polytechnic. It was a wonderful sight to see so many participants in the camp, roughly 700 of them I guess. Hmm, the fun part came when it was the mass game; everyone was roaming everywhere, stations to stations. And for me, I was put in charge for the health department. It was the busiest among them all, as people kept coming in for treatment. All in all, it was tiring but fun after all.
The committees went for supper after the game ended. Traveled to Mac, had a quick bite and back to the campus for more activities or wasn't that any? We just laze around; play cards, chat, msn, listen to music and stuff till morning.
We were dismissed at 7a.m. But then only hui shi, yee shan and me went for breakfast at Mac. Saw the rest of the seniors there too. Accompany yee shan home before heading to church for Sunday service. Soccer match in the afternoon against the adults at Ngee Ann. But unfortunately, we lost 2-0. Nevertheless, I felt the team did a pretty nice job and everyone performed well that day. A pat on the back… =)
Went home to pack my stuff for dance camp the next day. Anyway, HAPPY'S FATHER DAY too!

Next will be Dance Camp, will not elaborate too much on that as my post is already long enough. But some main highlights of it were that, I was appointed as the group leader and yeah, brought the whole group together for practices for our performance and also the games. So delighted to have this opportunity to play this role. Anyway, dance camp was fun. Basically, it's all about dance practices throughout the 3 days with just a little of games. And would you believe it?, the dance steps we choreograph came in first, and won the top prize. Yeah, JIVE ALL THE WAY!
And thanks to everyone for being there for me,especially my group members. Love you guys, in particular they are ( Greg, Evonne, Gino, Serf, Justin and of course my partner Jasmine). Remember to meet up someday to do some catching up…

Night cycling later in the night at East Coast Park, off to catch some sleep wills blog again tomorrow.
Anyway, a big thanks to all my GLs, for Green Fusion Camp they are Shu Hui and Christopher, World Famine Camp will be Wan Yan and Dance Camp will be Pamela, Darryl and Faiz.

If only I could go?

My post starts on a Saturday when I last posted my entry here.
It was a bright morning, skies were clear, weather was good, and breeze was cooling. Everything looked perfect for a little exercise, and so I asked ervine out for a jog and basketball. We didn't stayed there long though, went back not long after.
Back home, quickly got myself cleaned up and dressed up before heading down to elton's house there the salon for a haircut. As usual, when it comes to me , both peipei and lady boss will have something to say or comment about, can’t stand those words coming out from their mouths, so annoying and irritating. Zzz!
Was supposed to call the the boys for tuanqi, I did but the plan failed. And instead, everyone turned up for supper only. How disappointing it is but I have to accept it for what it is.
For my case, I went qing tuan and for our fellowship session we did video screening. A message delivered by john piper, it was great after all. I was deeply touched and moved by his words as the whole content really matched what I am going through right now, tribulations and stuff... Not only that, I have begun to fall in love with his sermons and have now begun downloading them on the net for personal needs. Have been listening them all this while and I really do hope that I can complete 7 years of sermons by this year starting from the year 2000 which I started on last night. All this will definitely help in my spiritual life, a spiritual walk with him through the bible.
Something taken out from last night's sermon. it says, "Christian living means living on the word of God". And at that moment, I really did feel God speaking to me and what He said was to work in me right now, to change me for the better, to feed me with spiritual food which I am hungering for, to prepare myself for the battle with the evil thoughts and the evil doings and also to heal my broken heart.
Sorry, anti-climax, hehe, back to supper. It was fun at Holland V, a wonderful place to hang out at night. Pretty enjoyed myself there though the place was crowded. Anyway, ervine thinks that my brain has been damaged probably because I emoed too much, as I wasn't acting very normal at that point in time. Maybe it was really the case, can't recall much. XD

The Sunday itself, went shao tuan for worship and the J2's class for lessons. From the start of the lesson, it had already drawn all our attention by beginning it with some implemented card games. It was exciting and some of them really looked funny in that game. At least, I didn't find it boring though the rest of the lessons we were discussing about cults, illusions, Christian Science, so on and so forth. Sounds interesting... further more in depth next week I hope?
Service then lunch. Captain's ball training in the afternoon. The attendance was rather good as most of them turned up. Laze around at the room till at night. Played some lame games with the rest of the people who stayed behind. Losers are supposed to do dares; everyone was embarrassed in a sense that we all did different tasks which in turn were difficult. Mine was pretty bad, not to even mention it. Yeah, and we all had fun!

Nothing much happened on Monday, so shall not elaborate too much on that. Mabel, ervine and ernest came to my school to catch the first episode of Star Wars and Army Daze in the library. A drink at the canteen and basketball in school later in the afternoon too.
Stopped by at sheng shiong for dinner at KFC, walked around the bowling alley and the arcade before leaving for home. Was quite late already, and so I gone straight to bed.

Yesterday went school for a briefing on a trip to Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Really can't wait to live there with those villagers. To research on their culture, songs, poetry, language, etc.. I really do hope that I can gain something out of it bust most importantly, to have fun there. After the talk, went to meet up with yu han, ervine and mabel. Lunch then went home as mabel was there to visit my sister and yu han wanted to play romance of three kingdom. Nicholas came shortly after hearing that the rest were there too. Spent the rest of the afternoon on TV and cards.
Back listening to sermons after they left, till I dozed off.

Today, woke up super early as was informed to report at 10a.m. for camp preparation. We committees came together to do those props needed for that day. It was so tiring but nevertheless, I've got to know and make some friends. It was great having everyone's company, and we did bond quite well along the way. BB PRIMERS!! So fun! So great! See you're on Friday!
Tomorrow will be the start of the first camp, however everything goes well if only I won't be down with chicken pox at the very last minute. So, Mak! See you tomorrow!
Just bought a book 'StromBreaker', author is Anthony Horowitz, planning to read it during free time in camp. Starting to fall in love with reading, but for now is back to john's piper and his sermons.

Anyway, here is my schedule for the 2 weeks holidays I'm having.

A Simple Prayer.

Dear God,

I thank you for myself, that I'm Your child, that You have created me in Your own image that I belongs to You, that no matter in what circumstances You are with me because You say in Your word that You will never forsake Your child no matter what. That whenever I calls upon You, You listen and not a time You have forsaken me. God I pray that You guide me through every thought, that I will surrender every thought I have to You. That You be so real to me in this period of time that I will experience You once again. God would You awaken my spirit man once again, that my passion for You will not die off but will continue to grow even deeper. That I'll believe that Your timing is perfect, that my life belongs to You. God have Your way in my life, let Your will be done in my life. That step by step I will allow You to reign in every area of my life. God, at Your own timing would You reveal to me bit by bit of what you have in stored for your precious child. God, would You unblock my spiritual ears and open my spiritual eyes so that I can hear from You and see what You are doing in my life. God, I commit myself into Your hands, that You will take care of my every needs and that I will trust You like never before. Thank You God! In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

The years go by so fast.
Memories remain from the past.
You remember the times of good and bad,
the days you wish you'd never had.
Life can be good,
doing things you thought you never could.
Living your dreamsfacing your fears,
with fun and laughter,
with heartache and tears.
Trying to express your feelings
wishing words would come your way,
All the thoughts in your headare all so hard to say.
To love and hate
To give and to take!
Searching for happiness
no matter how near or far.
Trying to find out the person you really are!
Living for the moment
giving life your all,
never giving up.
no matter how bad you fall
because life is lifeit's good and bad.
At times you'll be happy.
At times you'll be sad!

Tears are words from the heart that can't be spoken.

Love Me For A Reason

Girl when you hold me
How you control me
You bend and you fold me
Any way you please
It must be easy for you
To love the things that you do
But just a pastime for you
I could never be

And I never know, girl
If I should stay or go
Cos the games that you play
Are driving me away...

Don't love me for fun, girl
Let me be the one, girl
Love Me For a Reason
Let the reason be love
Don't love me for fun, girl
Let me be the one, girl
Love Me For a Reason
Let the reason be love

Kisses and caresses
Are only minor tests, babe
Of love turned to stresses
Between a woman and a man
So if love everlasting
Isn't what you're asking
I'll have to pass, girl
I'm proud to take a stand

I can't continue guessing
Because it's only messing
With my pride, and my mind
So write down this time to time

I'm just a little old-fashioned
It takes more than a physical attraction
My initial reaction is
Honey give me a love
Not a fascimile of
