Celebrating Singapore 42th Birthday
This year, instead of the usual National Stadium, the ceremony was held at a brand new location and brand new style, the Marina Bay's floating platform. Besides all that, there were many highlights that were new too and was only brought into the celebration this year.
Some of the highlights were commandos rappelling down the Benjamin Shears Bridge, armed soldiers and men from the Special Operations Command getting up close and personal with the spectators in the gallery and marching of the guard-of-honour contigents right from suntec convection center. Manage to capture some the marching and also the fireworks display later in the night. It was simply wonderful and indeed unforgettable too.
Thus, this year ndp has certainly grown and was brought to a higher level as we're glad to say that citizens could expect even more thrills in the upcoming years. As for this year, it was great and definetely a magical and memorable year for me. Hooray! Happy Birthday Singapore!
