HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2
School’s out and summer’s here. The East High Wildcats are gearing up for three sun and fun filled months of work??
Troy Bolton then stresses over getting a job with the price of college looming on his mind, as well as trying to make sure he and Gabriella are able to stay together all summer. As a symbol of his feelings for her, Troy gives Gabriella a necklace with his initial "T" on it on the last day of school. Aww… so sweet.
While Sharpay and Ryan plan on spending the summer at their family's country club, Lava Springs, Sharpay's summer plan also includes breaking up Troy and Gabriella by getting Troy hired at Lava Springs and making her move on him. She succeeded not long after.
Being attracted to the scholarship, it in addition makes the wildcat superstar go further away from his friends and even for his relationship with Gabriella was silently strained to the breaking point when he sees Ryan with his girlfriend, sparking a little jealously as well as his now tentative relationship with his best buddy, Chad.
With the pressure from obtaining a scholarship and Sharpay’s evil doings, Troy went further off. Finally, Gabriella confronted Sharpay and told Troy that she'll miss him but that she can't trust him anymore due to the way he'd been acting lately; she returns the necklace he had given her and leaves crying with the song “Gotta Go My Own Way” sung.
I feel for him too and was faced with the same scenario not long ago. It was definitely a ending I didn’t wanted.
But HEY, Troy then realizes the error of his ways and goes to apologize to Chad and the others. Ryan gets help from the Wildcats to conspire to get Troy and Gabriella back together. They succeeded, as once again they performed a duet together on a dinner. After the show, with some fireworks at the golf course, Troy and Gabriella finally share their first kiss, and the summer ends with a pool party and the Wildcats' celebration of a great summer together.
Happy for them that it ended that way, will mine be similar to theirs too??
